I like the sound, and imagery I get from it. It conjures up images of Ancient Greece, discovery and mythology, but I can also imagine a feisty, fiery, tomboyish girl/woman called Chrisanthy. I don't like the spelling though, I just like the look of Chrysanthe more, maybe because I'm more used to -anthe endings,

Nothing to like. It looks like somebody who couldn't spell tried to write down chrysanthemum and before they could write the mum part the phone rang.
Even spelled right, it's ugly.
Even Chrysanthemum is ugly. Even the common noun as the name of the flower is a mouthful and not pretty.

Chrisanthy looks misspelled, so do Chrisanthi, Chrysanthi, Chrysanthy. I don't even know which one is the original but the only one that doesn't look creative to me is Chrysanthe. So Chrysanthe would be the spelling I would go with. In any case I think having this name might be a bit of a struggle, People will misspell it all of the time. It does have a very nice meaning and a history, which is nice, but I really only like Chrysanthe (I think this is the original, not completely sure). I would like to meet a Chrysanthe but apart from the constant misspellings I also think she would likely end up as Chris or Chrissie which aren't appealing to me.

It's a nice name in theory, and it reminds me of a chrysanthemum, but I don't think I would have the guts to name someone that.
