I opened up your post with the intention of saying, "I'm sick of Lisa", because it was insanely popular at the time I was born and for the decade after, but then I saw that you addressed that.

When I can separate it from how ubiquitous it was among my age group, I can see the appeal---it's sweet and pretty. Still not something I would ever consider, though. Just too many women named Lisa still walking around.
