I like Roxanne, though I don't love it, spelled that way. I prefer it to Roxana or Roxanna.Roxie, though---all I can think of is the word "rocks". So it seems tough and brassy to me. Actually, the first syllable sounding like "rocks" is what keeps me from loving Roxanne, though I think the full name is softened to the point that I can like it though not love it.My daughter had a friend whose sister named her baby Roxie. Just Roxie, it wasn't a nickname. Of the two spellings, I prefer Roxie. Just looks cuter.
