I had never met a real-life Annabel / Annabelle before college (Freshman year was back in '09)... where I met at least 5 of them. I think they were all from the East Coast, mainly New York, so it's probably more popular there than other parts of the country (I've definitely never encountered any in the Midwest).Can't say I'm a huge fan, to be honest. The name feels very... prissy. Princess-y. More than most of the names I do like, so that's saying something.
