Asia
What do you think of Asia for a girl? I like the sound of it but it is the name of a continent...Do you think it's trashy?

I think it's a little tacky, but honestly I've seen worse.

I knew a girl named Asia when I was a kid. I like the sound, but I'm not keen on place names, in general. I'd go for Aisha or Asha instead.

It's pretty but I knew many growing up (Aja too). I like Asiana but doubt that's usuable.

I like it well enough, plus had I once had a D&D character named Ajiah pronounced similar to Asia!

I don't think it is trashy, per say. But I also don't like it. I am not big on major-place names. I think it's cool to use a place name when the place is not a huge or well-known city. I personally like Belrain for example. However - London, Paris, Asia, America, etc... I just don't like it. You could go with Aloisia or Alessia and get a similar sound without all the baggage.

There is Asiya, the Muslim name, you could try.

Asia is a difficult name to define, personally I find it rather sweet but then again it does feel a bit too trendy. Also it does depend on the middle names and/or siblings names; if they are sweet and classical I'm sure it will pair nicely.

It's got a sleazy vibe to it, but it isn't unheard of already and it's also reasonably attractive, as place names go.
