Yeah I don't care for Xander or Fender for a girl.
I feel like it should be Xandera which I also don't care for. Sounds like the name of a female character from a Space Western or from a Post-Apocalyptic Western.

I once met a girl named Zandra. I don't really care for Zandra, Sandra or Alexandra :P I much prefer Alexandria, Alexa and Alessandra.
