Re: Mercy and Amity
I've always been a bit iffy on word names. I think one can be a bit more creative than naming their kid Hope, or Love or something. However, Mercy is quite cool sounding. I don't know if it's usable on a real person, but I can see it on a book or video game character. In fact, there's a character named Mercy on the game Overwatch.
While Amity is quite a rare word and will probably avoid the association with word names, i can't get used to the sound of it. It sounds kind of clumsy and weird to me. Might be cause that name without the A actually means "nose" in my language. Who knows.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

My daughter knew a Mercy, so I think it's usable.
