To me, its a male name that was stolen by girls. I really only like it spelled Rhys.

On a girl, it's a name I consider risky even though I like it. I think it sounds cool but is it enough to stand alone as a fn? It's one of those names I'd want to use but not 100% sure about.

Boy. Boys names on girls always feels like the parents didn't want a girl or that they think it's wrong to be feminine.

I know two guys named Reece and two girls named Reese. I like Reese on a girl, but I prefer the original spelling, Rhys, on a boy.

I like Reese best for a girl! There is a Let's Player called Lucahjin who real name is Risa and goes by her nickname of Reese!
