No, Christmas is not a good name for a person. It might have been used here and there, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea. Noelle is much better.
The only Christmas I knew was a friend's old sheepdog. They didn't name her that, she was already twelve years old when they got her. She'd been born on Xmas day. She was the most wonderful dog I've ever known, and I am not a big dog lover.

Yeah, for a dog! lol

I think as a first name, even hypothetically, it seems too fanciful. But I think it's fun for a middle name. I've always loved the combo Lucy Christmas. How cute is that?!

I really Easter as a first name. In my family tree there's a family with all pretty solid classic names, and then one girl named Easter, and I just love it.

Christmas isn't the worst name. There's probably some teasing potential, but there's teasing potential with every name. I wouldn't say it's unusable. Obvious nns are Chris, Chrissy, Christy, Kit, etc.

I have a Christmas in my family tree, and my best friend has an Easter.
My Christmas seems to have gone by the full name, as far as I can tell (she was born in the 18th century), but Chris and Christy would be obvious nns. I think it's quite comical, and I'd never use it myself, but there are worse names.

I think Christmas is a lovely name, male or female. I'd use it. I also love Candelaria (Candlemas). Pentecost is a bit of a guilty pleasure that I think could be a good middle, but I'm not religious so wouldn't use either of those
