Pronounced like Cole. There's a woman who posts at BN who has a son named Kohl. Even still, I still think eyeliner and department store.

It's pronounced like Cole, but it's a word and not a name to me. Unless you're talking about a dept. store (at least where I live, we have Kohl's).

pronounced just like Cole. Hence the store, Kohl's. I think it's pretty cheesy if it's changing up the spelling of Cole.

Its a department store (Kohl's) to me. ~~Kris~~

As everyone else has said, it's pronounced the same as Cole. It reminds me of the department store Kohl's.

Pron "cole" and says simply "eyeliner" to me! LOL

Ditto. Also "loud expensive sports center."

I'd pronounce it like Cole. I strongly dislike it.

I say it as Cole; and I don't like it. It sounds like a German surname. As a fn, it seems inappropriate.
Budgerigars, ceiling fans, the Times of India are all part of the luggage I brought into the world... Blue Jesus leaked into me; and Mary's desperation, and Joseph's revolutionary wildness, and the flightiness of Alice Pereira... all these made me, too.
