I like Wilbur! Not a fan of Francis.
Poor name...
I really do love Wilbur, but sometimes it seems like the ultimate "old man name." It has very dated cultural associations, which have been mentioned in the thread already (the pig in "Charlotte's Web," and the character on "Mister Ed"), and it will take a long time to shake those. (But maybe they're not as strong in the UK?)
That said, Francis and Wilbur go well together as brothers!

Well... I think of a pig when I hear the name Wilbur... it is not a bad name and it has the potential of Wil/Will for a nickname.
Francis and Wilbur go together nicely!

Mister Ed.
That's all I can think of - Mister Ed neighing Willl-burrr.

Reminds me of the pig in Charlotte's Web, but I still quite like it. It's cuddly.
I think it's actually quite cute. It makes me think of the dentist in Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory (the movie), but ultimately that's not a very bad association - Christopher Lee played the part wonderfully and the father-son storyline ended satisfyingly.
