I used to dislike obviously feminized versions of male names, like Josephine, Paulina, Antonia, Philippa... but I'm really warming up to them now. Philippa isn't my favorite, but it's not bad.

I don't mind Philippa, it is a nice name, it's not very common in Australia so it is a nice alternative to the other queen names. I also like the nicknames such as Pipa or Pippy - though that is a guilty pleasure

In English-speaking parts of the world, doubtlessly, one of the typical classical names, as well as Catherine, Victoria or Georgina.
Here in the German-speaking regions rather unusual, considered pretty old-fashioned with a touch of eccentric.
Just probably to close to Pippi Longstocking, Astrid Lindgren´s famous children´s book character.
Anyway, some mns could be
Philippa Louise
Philippa Charlotte
Philippa Lydia
Philippa Beatrice
Philippa Scarlett
Philippa Eleanor
Philippa Maude
Philippa Regena
Philippa Vivienne
Philippa Irene

I first came across it as the name of the wife of Edward III, I suppose the same queen you are referring to, in a novel. It was the name of two other characters also, as many women were named after her during her reign.
I was not sure at first, and for quite a while, how to pronounce it -- FIL-e-pa or fil-LEEP-a. I found out eventually it's FIL-e-pa. Or is fil-LEEP-a an accepted pronunciation at all?
Anyway, I don't like it much, but it's not horrible.
