I like Clarissa a lot, but I don't like Carissa or Corissa at all.

"Clarissa Explains It All" is what I think about, and I don't even think I ever caught a full episode. If I had to choose between Clarissa and Carissa, I would choose the latter.

I love Clarissa, very elegant.I don't like Carissa which seems unnecessarily gussied up. Charis is a lovely name on it's own. I don't like any of those Cor names, I just don't care for the sound

I love Clarissa and strongly prefer it to Carissa and especially Corissa.I also love Clarisse, Clarice, Claritia, Clarinda, and Claretta.

I think Clarissa is very usable. I prefer Claire and Clarisse is even better. But will always be linked to Silence Of The Lambs and Hannibal Lector to me.

I like Clarissa a lot, and I like Carissa even more. I like most -rissa names, Larissa/Larisa is probably my favorite.

Not a fan. I picture a spoiled whiny little girl.

Clarissa was one of my favorite names growing up, which is probably why I think it's too frilly and young for me now. I much prefer Clarice / Clarisse today.Carissa is even frillier than Clarissa, and Corissa is just awkward, imo.

I hate it because it's an "issa" name, but I hate it a little less than the other "issa" names, because the crispness of the first two letters, CL, somewhat offsets the sappiness of "issa".
