It's definitely usable. I loved the Anastasia Krupnik books (by Lois Lowry) as a child and even wrote my own books about a Swedish Anastasia.
I think I stopped loving the name when someone said it sounded like "metastasis" and since then I can't think of Anastasia without thinking "metastasis"...
I think it's one of the "romantic" names a lot of people tend to like, a bit like Charlotte, Scarlett, Rhiannon...
