Gertrud is ugly in English and even though it has a softer sound in Swedish it is still ugly. I can't really understand why you would choose Gertrud before any other name.
Ejvind is a pleasant surprise! Not really my style but I like to see the more obscure Scandinavian names being used. I quite like Hilding. I had an ancestor who emigrated to the US named Hilding.
ETA: Hilding is still not in the database? That's odd.
