Re: Red?

I know a guy named Red. Actually his name is Redrum. I assume his parents were twisted. He is not so straight himself.
He goes by Red though.(Side note: his daughters are named Corrin and Navaeh)
I have heard Red as a nickname for Richard too.
Maybe Winnifred or Alfreda for girls.
Anyone with red hair.
Red names like Ruby, Sienna, Scarlet etc.

There was a remarkably famous British horse called Red Rum - back in the 70s or 80s I think - which won vast sums for people who bet on it. It won something like the Derby? And was very much loved; seemed to be a charismatic beast. The reason I know this is because I went into a touristy shop in Scotland and found that someone had designed a Red Rum tartan! Not attractive as I recall, sort of dark red and beige. But clearly there was a market. Mr Redrum's parents could have won enough on the races to pay for a really good maternity hospital!
