Dynastie & Generation
I had to call two students, named Dynastie and Generation, yesterday.Bonus: Dynastie and Generation are both male. And I'm fairly certain these are their birth names.So... wdyt? Personally, it took all my effort to keep a straight face & even voice when saying these names. Why do parents do this to their children? Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Why...? Who has a sweet little baby placed in their arms and thinks, "I'm going to call you Generation." No. Just no.Also, as ridiculous as it is, I see "Die nasty" when I see the name Dynastie. I did too many word scrambles as a child. Either way the name is ridiculous.

*Puke*
I've seen "Ideology" once, on a guy from Zimbabwe, I think it was.

I knew a female Dynasty. It worked for her. I think it sounds okay for a boy, but looks feminine. It is not my favorite word name, but it does sound namey. Dynastie just looks awkward.Generation is terrible. What an odd word to choose. I wonder if they were thinking nod a generation of people or of generating things when they decided upon it. Either way I think of lots of people and electricity.

At first I would think it was Generacion, like a Spanish-style religious-related name. Like Concepcion or Consolacion. Which I would expect to see on a girl rather than a boy as they are tied to the Virgin Mary, if I remember right. But Generation is very bad.Dynasty I would also assume was a girl. Very trashy, even more so than Destiny. Also the name of an eighties TV series; "Dallas" "Dynasty" "Knotts Landing" and "Falcon Crest.
