Hmm. I don't see why an 'i' followed by a double consonant would be pronounced 'ee' though?

In any case - yeah, it makes no sense. It SHOULD be rin not reen. Still, I have always heard it pronounced reen from people with the name Corinne. They might be all wrong but it influenced my preferences.
Corrine with the rin sound is pretty too. Corinna with the rin sound is not-so-much, imo.
