Benji

I like the nickname on a young child I think, not an adult
I think Benji sounds kind of childish on a grown man. It also makes me think of binging.
I know one. I think it's cute and a bit retro. Something different from boring predictable Ben.
That it's childish and he should be called Ben. No, I'm not going to mention the dog! See, I didn't.
I dated one in high school. I also know another one. Seems completely normal to me.
He's 8, right?
I think it sounds babyish. I can picture it on a more flamboyant guy maybe, but otherwise don't think it would fit an adult. My son was called Benji sometimes only until he was about 4-5.

I would think people call him Benji. It's a less common nickname, but I don't think it's really all that confusing.
That's my nephew's nickname. It's cute :)
Maybe because of my trash emo phase in middle school, I idolized Benji Madden from Good Charlotte. So Benji will always have a special place in my heart. It's a little immature for an adult in like a professional setting. But honestly, I love it and I think it's much better than boring old Ben. If I was a Benjamin, I would go by Benji.
It would depend on how old he was. If he was three, I'd probably think it was cute. If he was thirty-three, I'd probably think he was a bit of a plonker.
It's like, mad cute, but not something I'd use. I appreciate it.
I would think "ew". I hate Benji. It's one of those few names.
There was a character on a TV show who had a son named Benji. I hated her just for that. Seriously, there was nothing on the show she could do I liked, because she was just that woman who named her kid Benji to me. Bleh.
It's one of my harsher opinions - sorry.

I would think Oh, and do you still wear training pants?
