Mira or Ada
For some reason, I'm in love with the name Mira lately. I like how it's used (and pronounceable) in many different languages, it's short but not nickname-y and it's easy to spell but not too common. I found it when I was looking for names like Ava (which is lovely but way too popular for me).
But then there's also Ada, like Ava but again not as popular. It's a cool reference to Ada Lovelace, it's also short and easy to spell but interesting and pretty.
What do you prefer? Also, is there anything horrible about either of these names that I'm not seeing (awful meanings in other languages, terrible nicknames, etc)

I love the multiple meanings from different languages.

Mira! Because Ada sounds bad in my language. But I love it, too
Mira
I said Mira. Mirabella/Mirabelle is like my latest obsession.
Neither is horrible at all. I vote Mira!
Ada

I prefer Ada pretty much for the reason's you've listed. I also think it's sturdier than Mira.
Mira is also such a common Spanish word that I can't get past it sometimes. It means "look", but it's also sort of just used to start sentences, like "hey listen up". (Anyone who knows Spanish better than I do can elaborate!)
