Fate?

Sorry, but no. It sounds creepy.
What about Fortuna?
Same meaning, but an established name (I really like it but it's a bit of guilty pleasure)

I think as a word it's very pretty, but as a name I don't love it. I would totally name a sim Fate, but never a person. Maybe a character in a book.
I would not use Fate as a name. And I would roll my eyes (secrectly) at the parents who named their child Fate.
But, I did have to think about my reasons why. I love Faith, Hope and Harmony as names. I find Destiny, Noble and Patience acceptable as middle names. So, what don't I like about Fate? I guess because it could be negative, like he met with a terrible fate. And for me that would be tempting fate. I could never name my child something with strong negative connotations. But that's just me.

As a word, I think 'fate' has a bit more intrigue than your other examples, because it could just as easily be really negative as positive. As in 'met an untimely fate'.
As a name, I think it's pretty ridiculous.

I think, absolutely not. Fwiw I think Destiny is perfectly silly too
