Can't pronounce it! LAYla/ LIEla? Either way it seems babyish and unattractive, and if as I suspect it's LAYla, I don't think starting a female name with 'lay' is the very wisest move. Leila might work better, but I don't like it much either.

I really like the name Layla and that is my fave spelling.

It's really pretty - very soft and feminine. Laila is a gorgeous spelling. But Layla is probably what I'd go with plus it's easy to spell.

Unfortunately I have a friend -Italian not with Arabic heritage- who is named Leila so I will not use this fantastic name.

My favourite spelling are Laila and Layla.

Laila is the most Italian variant together with Leila.

But I would chose Layla because in Arabic the i is long so I use Y for it while I write a short i with a simple i. This is my opinion.
