Where I live, Aubrey is quite often seen, but only on boys/men. Mostly men, in fact, but still.

Caroline, obvs. Aubrey is so dull, and Caroline, especially pronounced the French way, is one of the prettiest names there is. I have, unfortunately, known a few Carolines who weren't the smartest, so I prefer Charlotte.

I honestly don't know! Caroline is classic but I think Aubrey is much more pleasant and warm. I think I'm going to go against the grain and say Aubrey.
