The mother posted the following regarding pronunciation:

And...here's some help with their names:

Nyla ---- "Nie-la" (it really does sound like it looks)

Analia---------"Uh-nah-lee-uh"

My opinion: I think I would prefer the pronunciation NEE-la. I am not sure on the pronunciation she mentioned above - where is the accent? They are both too weird for my taste.
Annaleah makes more sense.

I knew a girl whose name was Nysha. Pronounced Nie-sha. I prefer Nyla over Nysha though.

Analia just looks weird. The proununciation is alright, just the looks of it needs to change.

Well one of my middle names is Anali so I guess I am kind of biased toward Analia...I think it is really pretty and the pronounciation is the one I would have read straight away. The 'anal' part doesn't worry me at all and people get over it in real life, or they grow up. I have only ever had one person point it out to me and it was a ten year old boy who was crude and obnoxious. The pronounciation takes away from it too.
I don't mind Nyla either...nms but kind of cute.
I am not a fan of the middle names at all however.

I prefer it when names not have the word "Anal" jumping out at their beginning. Analia sounds more like sexual innuendo to me than a name. I don't think either name shows consistency of style, which kind of irks my naming sensibilities, but the only individual name that I think is awful is Analia.

Nyla isn't horrible, but not really my style, either. Analia is a BAD spelling (ANAL sticks right out there, imo). And I agree--where is the accent? Is it ah-nah-LEE-ah, AH-nah-lee-ah, ah-NAH-lee-ah??

Nyla reminds me of Lion King's Nala (but I just watched that last night). It's alright.

Analia scares me with the "Anal" part. I am surprised they didn't use 2 "n"s to masquerade that some.

Don't care for the MN combos either hopefully they're family names.

I think they sound very similar for twins. Neither one is my style on its own, either, but I agree that I like the NEE-la prn better. The MNs are refreshing, though.

I'd have rather seen

the middle names used as first names! Neither are my particular favorites but I think they're better than what was actually used.
