Nina

I have trouble separating the name Mira from the words mirror and miracle and Spanish LOOK! and I dunno, it looks superficial and bratty. Maybe mostly because I have never met nor heard of an adult Mira - only children. I like it alright on a real person, though.
Nina suffers a little from word association with ninny, and generally too much negative N sound, like, my name is No! But to me it seems too classicky and also informal, for that to damage it. And I think it seems ageless and can be powerful. Reminds me of Nina Hagen.
I'd rather be Nina, and I'm on the fence about naming a child but I think I'd go with Nina.
