I think I lean Mara, because although I love Marcella it becomes Marcy too easily... Marcy is okay, but there is just something about it I don't like, probably based on some trace of a lost memory. Mara is more thoroughly appealing in sound.I'm also partial to Marcia (MAR-see-a or MAR-sya, not MARSHa). Marcellina is as nice as or nicer than Marcella IMO. But, I'd be more likely to name a baby Mara. I'd enthuse about Marka / Marca even more, if it weren't for the familiarity of the phrase Marca Registrada, lol. That would be a funny name combo ...- mirfak
