I think Karen is an all right name. It's a little boring and dated, but it's legitimate, unlike so many of the names that are popular right now.

FWIW, I like the name Karen, but I still hear it a lot on different ages. It's far from an uncommon name.

The funny thing is, back in the sixties, Karen was one of the sad sacks of popularity. Along with Debbie and Linda.
