Zelda
So I was talking to my brother yesterday and he suggested Zelda for the baby.
I was quite impressed! He also previously suggested Freya.
What are your impressions of the name Zelda? Do you think it sounds old or modern?
Would it stick out with the other names that we like:
Daphne, Winifred, Rufus, Barnaby?
Does it sound weird as Zelda Arnold (I actually like that she would be ZArnold :P Husband is DArnold and i'm RArnold)
Middle name suggestions?

My cousin and his wife had a baby Zelda a couple of years ago (she's set to become a big sister soon and I've no idea how they will follow it!)
Ever since I've had a Zelda in my family it's really grown on me, I think it sounds fresh and modern but she probably won't be sharing her name with anybody in her class (maybe even school) which I see as a huge plus!
Unfortunately, I do think Zelda sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of your list! Zelda's siblings I see as 'hip and happening' and - no offence - your names strike me as conservative retro.
Zelda Arnold doesn't sound weird at all - nothing wrong with it!
Zelda Daphne or Zelda Winifred would work. Also:
Zelda Alice
Zelda Caroline
Zelda Eve
Zelda Ivy
Zelda Naomi
Zelda Ramona

It's hard to beat Zelda. It's spunky, energetic and take-charge. I think of Zelda Fitzgerald, wife of F. Scott Fitzgerald, who fit all those characteristics.
Use Zelda.
Yes, it fits with your other names. But that doesn't really matter, because Zelda overshadows them (no offense meant).

I love it. I met one that was about 8 and was fiesty, independent and quirky, just my idea of the name. I couldn't personally as my SIL is crazy for the computer game and would totally ruin the name with references to that.
The Legend of Zelda had always been on either handheld or console, never on the computer! Sorry, video game nerd had to correct you!
I'm old, they're all computers to me.
Haha, sounds like my mom!
Zelda is awesome and while it's obviously a very old name, that doesn't bother me. Freya is also beautiful, I have loved it for years. I think both Zelda and Freya fit in with the other names on your list. As far as combos go, what about Zelda Celeste, Zelda Cleo, Zelda Clementine, Zelda Violet, Zelda Blossom, Zelda Felicity, Zelda Guinevere, Zelda Gwyneth, Zelda Lillian, Zelda Lucille, Zelda Mabel, Zelda Miriam, Zelda Mary, Zelda Madeleine, Zelda Millicent, Zelda Pearl, Zelda Patience, Zelda Posy, Zelda Opal, Zelda Ivy, Zelda Iris, Zelda Tess, Zelda Ruby, Zelda Rachel,

I love Zelda! It definitely fits with your other names. It has a vintage-y feel but it also still is appealingly modern.
I love Zelda.
It's a cool name that fits in well with your other names.

I like it, and I think it fits in with your other names. It's very Jazz Age, but it would work well for a modern kiddo. There was a Zelda Lillie born to a couple at my church a few years ago.
It's not my stylE, but it's fun and I'd definitely like to see it in a BA! I think of Robin Williams daughter who seems cool. I think she was named for the video game.

Zelda isn't butt-ugly, but more like fun-ugly. It's like the go-to name for comic book witches or extremely eccentric rich old aunties. It doesn't clash with the other names you've listed.
