Lee or Leigh?
Which one is better. I like both. Why?

I'm from the South where we have a long history of loving Lee / Leigh. Lee is more often used for a male while Leigh is more often used for a female so naturally, I prefer things that way. Leigh is more visually appealing to me although I have many, many, many individuals named Lee in my family, lol. IMO, one isn't better than the other.
So are you considering this for a male or female?

I think Lee, even though it's so short.Leigh seems un-necessarily elongated.
Leigh. It looks more "full" to me.
Lee for a boy, Leigh for a girl.
Agree!
I've seen it, and there's the news anchor/reporter Ashleigh Banfield. I think the spelling is a bit overdone. If you have to be creative with the spelling of Ashley, better that it's Ashlee.
Lee. Unambiguous pronunciation, obvious spelling. Plus it just looks better. How "gh" came to "look feminine" is beyond me.
I like Lee.....why?.....it's my middle name and my son's middle name.
