Still not sure eh? I grew up near a big family with an eldest son Declan, and never noticed that it was Irish. But in retrospect they had an Irish surname, and the sibs included Colleen and Kathleen. So.What I don't like about it is that Americans say it as if it ended in lyn. So you get creative things like Decklynn on girls. Too tryndee. Otherwise, I would think it was pretty nice. NMS though; the cl in the middle doesn't work for me.- mirfak
