If we have twin girls
My dream of having twin girls may be coming true if our IVF is successful. I'm scared but it will be worth it if it works and we carry two. My husband chose Lillian for girl #1 (his Mom's first name.) I am not a Lillian fan so I am not concerned with the names "matching." I get to pick what I love:)Lillian's full name will be:
Lillian Rose Dawn or Lillian Dawn. (All family names). Here are my choices:Brooke Olivia-despite the B.O. initials I just love these two names together in this order. I can't shake Brooke Olivia, even though I searched other middle names choices including family names and none work. I'm not disappointed though. I love Brooke Olivia and so does DH.Eve Rachel-I really like the nickname Evie. Eve is to honor my Dad Steve. Rachel is a family name on DH's side. I love that it's Biblical and rare. It also means life, ewe. As in there is life in Jesus:)Faith Audrey-I love the sound of this combo but not sure the ordering fits. I like Audrey Faith too but don't want to call her Audrey. I like Faith Olivia too. Grace Luila-(Lou-eye-luh) family names. Grace specifically is not a family name but my Great Grandfather's and Nana's names mean grace. Luila was my aunt who perished way too soon. NN would be Gracey Lu!Hope Rachel-I LOVE Hope! The look, the sound, the feel. I've tried it with other middle names like Hope Olivia, which I still love, but Hope Rachel has an elegant feel to it. Rachel is also a family name. Natalie-I LOVE all things Christmas and Natalie means "Christ Birth." I love Natalie Ruth-too honor my Nana, Natalie Dawn to honor my Mom and myself, Natalie Faith and Natalie Hope.Olivia Ruth-I can't get rid of Olivia. It's so pretty to say and I love the sound and feel of it. Just don't call her Liv! I would call her "V" for short as in oliVia". Ruth honors my Nana. Vivian Lee (honor's my grandmother) Vivian Grace (honors my Nana). Love the nickname Vivi! Not sure if it's too similar to Lillian. Thanks! Really just wanting feedback on these names. I've cut out a lot so please no suggestions!

Congratulations (: If you don't like Lilian very much, have you tried to negotiate with your husband over slightly different versions, like Lily or Lilia? The other problem of having twins with one called Lilian is that Lilian sounds like "Lily and.." so if you ever call their names together "Lilian Grace!" it sounds like you're saying "Lily and Grace". Just a thought (:I don't like Rose and dawn together. Rose Dawn sound terrible to me, almost sickening for a kid. Rose-coloured sunrises are lovely but I'm really not into names that make an image like that.If you go with Lilian, I think both Vivian and Olivia can't be used. Have you tried saying "Lilian and Vivian" and "Lilian and Olivia"? The first rhymes (and there's nothing more cheesy than rhyming twins) and the second is a tongue-twister. Brooke Olivia - You may not mind the B.O initials, but what about your kid? Though I had to look up why the initials B.O might be a problem, I think it's worth remembering that this isn't a name you're choosing for yourself. You're choosing it for someone else. Brooke is lovely though, so I don't she why you shouldn't use it with a different middle name. Brooke Luila is really pretty.Eve Rachel - I love the nickname Evie too. This combo is lovely, very soft and dignified. Eva Rachel flows a little better, I think, but Eve is much nicer than Eva and as you'll rarely be saying first and middle name together I don't think flow is the most important thing.

Lillian - If you don't like Lillian so what about Lilith or Lily? Lilith has own history. It is first wife of Adam. She was a night demon.Brooke Olivia - not a fan of Brooke, sounds too surname. And Olivia is very nice and modern.
Eve Rachel - it's more for people of Jewish religion.
Grace Luila - Luila? Is it a name? Do you think Leila or Layla?
Hope Rachel - nice enough
Olivia Ruth - Classic. Rut is too name for people of Jewish religion.
Vivian Lee - Lee sounds a bit masculine to me. What about Vivien or Vivienne?Vivien Grace - it means "alive grace"
Lilian Natalie - means "Birth of Lily"
Vivienne Hope - means "alive hope"
Liv Lilian - means "protection of Lily"Viatrix Vivien - means "alive traveller" - you would call her Via or V or Trixi.
Viatrix Natalie - means "alive traveller"

My husband is Jewish:) Also yes Luila is a family name. It's name you just don't find it.

Ditch Vivian Lee, unless you like the Vivien Leigh (the old-time actress in Gone with the Wind) association. Lillian and Vivian are awfully rhymey.I would pick Natalie. Natalie Brooke?
Natalie Rachel?
If you really want to honor your dad Steve, Eve is really not a very plausible way to do that. It would be like if I tried to honor my mother Lorraine by using Elaine, or if we tried to name a son after me, Starla, by using Carl.Stephanie is pretty, and is the feminine form of Steven.
Olivia Stephanie?
Stephanie Brooke?
Stephanie Grace?
(I'd also nix Gracie Lou, because it's so sickly-cute it makes my teeth hurt.)

Eve or Vivian. Especially no to Brooke and Olivia. Olivia is way too popular.

I prefer Lillian Rose Dawn over Lillian Dawn. Rose in the middle breaks up the flow, otherwise the repetitive 'n' endings sound awkward. Brooke Olivia - not a fan of Brooke, I find it very bland, and Olivia is too trendy for my liking.
Eve Rachel - it's ok. Lillian and Eve fit nicely together as sisters.
Faith Audrey - much prefer Audrey Faith. Audrey and Lillian would be adorable as sisters.
Grace Luila - nice flow, people might not know how to pronounce it (I didn't), but there's nice meaning behind the names.
Hope Rachel - nice enough
Olivia Ruth - good flow, but Olivia and Lillian are quite a tongue twister as sisters.
Vivian Lee - sounds a bit masculine to me.
Vivian Grace - pretty, but as you say, Lillian and Vivian are a bit too matchy. Grace Vivian? My top picks out of those would be Eve Rachel, Faith Audrey and Grace Luila.

Since at least one name in Lillian's name is honoring, I'd have at least one name for the other child be honoring too.I would choose between
Eve Rachel - though I think Eva Rachel would flow better
Grace Luila - cool sound to this one, I like it a lot. Personally this would be my choice.
Hope Rachel
Natalie RuthIf you really hate Liv, I would hesitate on Olivia, because someone will inevitably call her Liv. I think Vivian is too similar to Lillian. Tongue twister there.Since Lillian might have 2 middle names, here's some ideas
Brooke Olivia Ruth
Hope Rachel Eve
Natalie Grace Luila

Brooke Olivia -- Have you considered Olivia Brooke and calling her Brooke? You may not mind B.O. initials, however, she might. My middle child is named Victoria Brooke and she has gone by Brooke for most of her life. I didn't like the way Brooke Victoria crashed together so we switched the order. It's sort of a thing in my dh's immediate family. Five members go by their mns. :-) BTW, I had wanted to name her Victoria Danielle until dh pointed out the V.D. initials. Um, no! And V.D. paired with our surname? A total joke -- and a bad one at that.Eve Rachel -- This is stunning. Eve is stunning. I love this combo and I'm not even wild about Rachel yet the pairing has won me over.Faith Audrey -- It's nice. I don't love it or hate it. Faith Olivia works too. BTW, singer Faith Hill's birth name is Audrey Faith.Grace Luila -- I can appreciate the familial connection yet this isn't really my style.Hope Rachel -- This is nice enough. There's nothing wrong with it; it just doesn't wow me.Natalie -- This is pretty and it works with all mns mentioned. I prefer Natalie Faith.Olivia Ruth -- It seems that you really love Olivia so by all means, incorporate it in some way. Not wild about Ruth but if it honors, then it will do.
