Do you know which way Thomas Merton pronounced Louis?
(If I was choosing the name specifically to honor him, but then found out he pronounced it differently, that would bother me)...
I like Louis, either way, but unless someone corrects me, I always pronounce it Lou-ee.
Eliana is pretty. I like it more than Elinor, I think. It pairs well with Judith.
But yeah, El- names are trendy.

Ditto the pronunciation issue.
Which is why I'm so wishy-washy on it. :-/ I haven't quite figured out how he pronounced it.
