If we judge by the full version of these nicknames then Jack and Kate win even stronger (esp Kate). I quite dislike the name Margaret, although Megan is okay. Katherine and Caitlin are both good.

Kate is nice too though! I just dislike Jack. It is a harsh sound, and I know a Jack that is less than desirable as far as personality. Will seems honest and kind.

Jack seems to have stopped being a nn and become a name in its own right. As a nn, I like it very much; as a full name, not really.

Kate is OK and would be nicer if the streets weren't paved with Kate people. Just to relieve the tedium, I'd prefer Kitty, or even Kathy.

Meg does nothing for me at all. I much prefer Peggy and Maggie.

Slightly prefer Jack, though not a big fan of either.
Kate is just okay, Meg sounds like a servant and reminds me too much of Megan, a name I have never liked.
