I was thinking of the American Girl dolls when I saw this thread. Samantha, Molly, Felicity, Kirsten, Addy, Julie, and even Josefina came to mind.

Liberty and America both sound like "all American" girl names, but there's also Revolutionary Era names like Abigail, Mercy, Betsy, Deborah, and Prudence.

The only one that came uo in my mind is Samantha. I love this mysterious name. Some people think that it is related with names like Samuel and Samuela...but I disagree.
