Aveline and Avila

Aveline
Aveline is nice. I don't like Avila though.
I like both. In fact I love both just not as a sibset
Aveline is a sweet where I am and Avila is a city in Spain.
Avila is all surname to me.
Aveline reminds me of javelinas, which are cute but not a great namesake. Besides, pronunciation would be a nightmare. AV-uh-leen? AV-uh-line? AV-uh-lyn? Does it start with a long A sound? Is it two or three syllables? Etc etc etc.

I love Aveline and would love to use it one day as a middle name to honor my grandmother Evelyn. I don't think I'd use it as a first name because it does have some ambiguity in pronunciation, and doesn't really allow for a natural nickname. (Not that I think all names need nicknames, but Aveline seems long enough that I'd want to use one.)
Avila I don't love *as* much, possibly because I know a family with the last name so it seems strange to me as a given. It is objectively pretty though.
