Love it!
I think it's so ugh. Boring. I like Chrissa but Clarissa is old news
The best I can say about it is that I hate Clarissa less than I hate other "issa" names, because the crispness of the first syllable somewhat offsets the sappiness of the second two.
I've always disliked Clarissa and all other names ending in -issa particularly Alyssa and Melissa. They seem fussy and dowdy in an eighties, dated way.
This is going to seem bizarre, but -issa names to me are the equivalent of those hideous old reclining sofas with built in cupholders and fake wood from the eighties. This is the closest thing I can find:
Imagine it in a room with this border:
With these throw pillows:
AHHH THAT WAS SO FUN!

I want those pillows.
The kitsch factor - they would be adorable! WANT!

LOL. Glad to know there's another "issa" hater.
I like Clarissa! Clarissa Joan makes me think of Melissa Joan Hart who portrayed Clarissa on that Nick show, but it sounds nice. In real life, I've only known one Clarissa ever, which is neat.
I feel like as far as mns, it's hard to go wrong with it:
Clarissa Jane
Clarissa Adeline
Clarissa Emily
Clarissa Octavia
Clarissa May
Clarissa Jeannette
Clarissa Diane
Clarissa Kate
Clarissa Jean
Clarissa Natalie
Clarissa Rosalie
Clarissa Ophelia
Clarissa Jana
