I love Clarissa, and I do know a girl named this. I like -issa names, and I think that Clarissa is a bit more versatile and it sounds nicer to me than Clarisse or Clarice.

I think it's so ugh. Boring. I like Chrissa but Clarissa is old news

The best I can say about it is that I hate Clarissa less than I hate other "issa" names, because the crispness of the first syllable somewhat offsets the sappiness of the second two.

It's ok but seems overly frilly.

I've always disliked Clarissa and all other names ending in -issa particularly Alyssa and Melissa. They seem fussy and dowdy in an eighties, dated way.

I like Clarissa! Clarissa Joan makes me think of Melissa Joan Hart who portrayed Clarissa on that Nick show, but it sounds nice. In real life, I've only known one Clarissa ever, which is neat.
