Cathal and Mavourneen
Even though Mavourneen comes from a phrase, I still love the sound of it. I don't know if Irish people would find this to be a ridiculous name or not but oh well; just because I like the sound doesn't meant I'm going to be using it, so it's kind of a moot point. :-)

I rather like it!
I think it's really nice. One of my favorite Gaelic sayings comes from the song Súil a Rúin where the last line of every verse is Is go dtéigh tú mo bhóirtn slán or "a blessing walk with you my love / my darling".
I also have been liking the sound of Páistín (Pastheen) which comes from another Celtic song An Paistin Fionn (The Fair Haired Youth). I like it because it's rather like other Irish names Kathleen, Roisin, Doreen, Maureen, Pegeen, ect. :)

Niamh and Desmond
It's funny but Patrick is my favorite Irish name and it's in my top 10 list. For girl's Irish names, I really like Maura, Maeve, and Bridget.
