Really diggin Ida (EE-da) right now. Any middle name suggestions? Everything I try seems too clunky or too harsh. Thanks :)

My gm was named Ida (long i sound) and I absolutely hated her name. Your pronunciation is heaps better if people would consistently use it. My gm's name was Ida Lillian which has a nice flow to it.Other suggestions:Ida Susanna
Ida Margaret, Ida Marguerite
Ida Penelope (livens up Ida)
Ida Rosalie
Ida Veronica
Ida Claire (just kidding!)

I think people would learn to use it if corrected once or twice. I'm not sure I'd ever use it IRL, but that would be my hope for sure!Ida Lillian is very sweet. Now that I think of it, my great grandma's name was Idella (eye-DELL-ah). That's pretty ugly but I guess charming in its own way, haha.Ida Veronica is something I thought about vaguely the other day, thanks for the reminder! Strong and beautiful for sure.

Ida... You're right, many things are very clunky with this one. I guess I'd pair it with something very airy, probably longish too, probably a bit flowery or princessy.Something like:Ida Felicity
Ida Celandine
Ida Calanthe
Ida Camille
Ida Celeste
Ida Jasmine
Ida Lavender
Ida Sarai
Ida Seren
Ida Vashti
Ida Flower ? Maybe not.
Ida Garland - this isn't soft, and kind of heavy, but I kind of like it anyway
Ida Leilani
Ida Lorelai - ha, no
Ida Maylis
Ida ThaliaSorry, it got very flowery there towards the end. I kind of wish you were pronouncing it "eye-da". Then I could suggest:Ida Leigh (idly)
Ida Lynn (idling)

Thanks! Wow Ida Garland is really nice and Christmasy.Sorry I don't love the EYE-da pronunciation, but Ida Leigh is fab. :D

Hi !!!!
I pronounce Ida as EE-dahIda Moira It is the only combo that seems pretty for me XD
It sounds classic and upperclass but not snobbish.
I think that Ida Moira could be a strong woman who cares family.
And also this name has something mysterious in a good point of view.Do you like it?Byeeee

I really like Ida, short, feisty, vintage and I love the Ee-da pronunciation too, it's fun and energetic. I have Ida Rowenna Heidi on my list, but that's quite heavy so Ill probably change it. Random suggestions:Ida May/Mae
Ida Faye/Fae
Ida Sylvie
Ida Verity
Ida Maeve
Ida Cleo/Clio
Ida Lavender
Ida Elowen
Ida Juliet
Ida Violet
Ida Jasmine
Ida Jessamine

Ida Lenora is a beautiful idea but I fear it's too... serious or something. Hmm. Thanks!

Thank you! How adorable is Ida Sunshine? Love it. Ida Sage is also a very nice way to smooth out Ida.I also thought about Ida Christine as it would honor my mom, but I just can't get behind all those ee sounds.

Never heard it with the non-English pronunciation before. I think it is fairly heavy in spite of its length, so it would be tough to combo.Ida Cosette
Ida Fairuz
Ida Heather
Ida Kateri
Ida Maeleth
Ida Mairead
Ida Nell
Ida Suzette
Ida Tamsin
Ida Timea
Ida Mattea
Ida Zuri
