Re: Cypress

Cypress Night as a combo is a bit much, imo, but I do like the name Cypress... on a girl. The -ess strikes me as very feminine (Bess, Tess, etc.).
If I were to name a boy Cypress, he'd need something strong as a middle name - strong, but not stereotypical or try-hard (i.e. no "Maverick"). Something like Cypress Henry, maybe, or Cypress Alexander.
For a girl... Cypress sounds best, imo, with a middle name beginning with a vowel:
Cypress Adele
Cypress Eileen
Cypress Ellen
Cypress Eloise
Cypress Emily
Cypress Enid
Cypress Erin
Cypress Evanna
Cypress Everly
Cypress Irene
Cypress Isabel
Cypress Odette
Cypress Olivia
Cypress Yvette
Cypress Yvonne
Resisting the urge to make a nature-themed sibset... I feel like brothers of Cypress would have names like:
Alister
Bayard
Damien
Leander
Piers
And sisters with names like:
Aurora
Aveline
Camellia
Eloise
Emmeline
Madeleine
Nora
Romilly
Please rate my personal short name lists (the latter includes combos):
