Cypress Night is pretty awesome (as long as it wasn't the place of conception =P)
I think Cypress is a spunky version of Cyrus plus I love place names.
I've heard a lot stranger, so no, I don't think it's too strange to use.
I kinda like the sound of Cypress Noah, Cypress Asher or Cypress Xavier.
Cypress could have a brother named Archer and a sister named Harmony. Or if I was feeling corny, he could have a brother named Cairo and a sister named India =)
