I know someone who named a cat Althea. I thought that was cool. I saw this cat frequently, and so I said the name a lot. I found it not that easy to say, and it began to sound weird, to be honest. I think Athena is more personable. But, Althea is not bad. It's usable.I like Althea Jennifer. I would use nn Thea or Allie if I used a nick. Althie is too hard to say IMO.- mirfak
