But I think it's lovely. It's fresh to the non-hebrew ear. A nice, simple spelling that can't really be mistaken. A pretty alternate to the already fairly popular River. It has all the checks on the list of what makes a good name, to me.

I think that Rivka is a great name, and a nice alternative to Rebecca for someone who wants to use a less common name.

Rivka sounds like a name I would hear in a movie. I don't believe I would use it but I think I like it.
