Rashida
The latest addition to my international list. Thoughts? What combination would you use Rashida in, if you had to? What would you nickname Rashida?Much obliged!

Not too sure about it as a girls name, although I do love its meaning! Love the masculine form Rashid.Combinations:
Rashida Amira
Rashida NadiaNickname: Shida? I'm not entirely sure there

I can't say I like it, sorry. It sounds harsh and makes me think of "rash".
My favorite Arabic name for a girl is Amani.

I went to elementary school with a Rashida. And the only other time I've heard it was on Rashida Jones. To me, it's a sensual, warm name. The one I know is occasionally nicknamed Shida. The name strikes me as kind of intense but, at the same time, still pretty.

I'm not keen on Rashida. Like Pie, there are many other Arabic names I like much more. I'm not sure what I'd call a Rashida for short. Rashi? Rash?? Shida?? Awful. Radish really is the best and most adorable option. Maybe Rad? If I had to use Rashida, I'd do.... umm... Fern Rashida! or Rashida Lulu

I used to know a Rashida. Her nn was Radish. This is probably not what you are after. :) It's a nice enough name with a pleasant sound, but there are many other Arabic names I like much better. If I were using it I'd put it with a family name from my side, so Lucy Rashida or Rashida Lucy.

I think Rashida is beautiful though I'm sure I'm influenced by Rashida Jones. I really like the way it looks, and I find the "-ida" ending very fresh. I can't really think of any nicknames for Rashida that I'd use, sorry!I might pick the combo Rashida Laura.
