Islie & Ismie
How do you feel about the names Islie and Ismie. Not together, just as individuals.
Replies
Islie is annoyingly spelled because it looks to me like "is lie"
Is Islie a cute little ... island?
Whatever, it's not as bad as Ismie, it's just another spelling of Isley / Eilidh etc.
Ismie is bad because "IS ME" ... "Ismie is me." That would be a no fun name to bear. And it is "ism"-y. And it seems like a cloying distortion of Esmee.

I knew an Isley (f), I really liked it!! It was pronounced EYE-lee.
I don't know whether to pronounce Ismie IS-me or EYE-me. I don't like it as much as Isley / Islie.

How are they pronounced?
I don't think I like them.

I like them - as I find each name to be interesting and new; I am from the US, if this helps at all.
They're weird, even separately.
