The only one I've known was my SO's daughter, but it's spelled Zan. Her full name was Alexandria rather than Alexandra, but close enough. He referred to her as Zan several times and I finally asked what her full name was. I thought it was so cool, I really liked it.

Sadly, Zan died a few years ago when she was only in her early thirties. And I always questioned whether or not she was really his daughter, but that's another story for another time and place.
