boy/girl twins
What would you name them?
Using mothers maiden name and a variant of your dad's middle for the boy. A feminine version of your maternal great great grandfather and his sister/maternal grandmothers confirmation name

Well, I have two mothers.. and their maiden names are Sweet and Kennedy. My dad's middle is Joseph, so I could go with Giuseppe or Zezé.
BOY: Kennedy Zezé (Ken)
Maternal GGGfather is asking a lot. Even though I love geneology, my family is from several countries so tracking is difficult.
I do think my GGGfather was named Dalton, bc my G-Grandfather was Harold Dalton, and my Grandfather was Richard Harold. I would not even come close to knowing confirmations names... and he didn't have a sister. They were not Catholic either.
So... I have no girl in my twin set.
I guess I have two boys:
Kennedy Zezé and Sweet Giuseppe. (Ken and Pino)

I think my maternal g-g grandpa had a sister named Lottie but she might've been a cousin or something. No clue what grandma's confirmation name was.

Ummm...
Is this a bit of a stretch? I feel like people might actually be able to participate if you threw us a bone and asked us to name boy/girl twins using only family names or something less specific and obscure.
Then you could do yours and tell us how they are related to you.

Yeah he obvi made this one specifically to showcase his own tired combos.
It's so specific it's self gratifying. Like, everyone who's me raise your hand!
Kev, why not challenge yourself and play with some combos you HAVEN'T already considered a thousand times over. These "games" are a lot more fun that way, and they're more fun when people can actually participate

I don't know the names of my great-great grandparents, and certainly wouldn't know my great-great grandfather's sister's or maternal grandmother's confirmation name. Some of my ancestors were not Catholic and would not have confirmation names anyway.
I know that you like this type of game, for lack of a better word, but this is reaching too far, IMO.

sorry Rachel and k
I've got an obsession with genealogy and wanted to see how far everyone else can get

Then why don't you ask that? You know, "For those who study genealogy, what's the most interesting/best names/sibsets/whatever you have found?"

Agree. I would be far more interested in that then these challenges.

My mother's maiden name is a two-word, adjective-noun Indian-style name.
I have no idea what my father's name was, and my stepfather has no middle name.
I have no idea what my great-great-great-great grandparents' names are or their siblings, and my family isn't Catholic.

I'm almost as bad off, though not Indian.
None of my family was Catholic, so no confirmation name. And I can't make a feminine name of my father's middle name, Hector, though anyone is welcome to try.

Quite good! Better than Hectorette, it would be.
It was my father's middle name too, so I might have been Hectorina.Happily not, though.

My mothers maiden name is absolutely dreadful as a given name (it sounds like a candy bar) I have no interest in honoring my father in any way, and his MN has no "variant." No clue what my great great grandfathers name is and so definitely don't know what HIS grandmothers name was. Also, I'm not catholic so no confirmation. So
Not using any of those prompts specifically I'd go with
Keenan Layne and Arietta Lucy

Alphonse Vintzens & Jonasine Minerva
These are awful tbh.
I can't post my mother's maiden name because her family is the only family that has it; I posted a name that is similar
Also, not everyone on the planet is Catholic so not everyone has a confirmation name.
Jonasine (ew) has several options for her middle name though, using a second great great/grand aunt, as the girls in the family were:
Mary Minerva
Nora Ellen
Caroline May
Minnie Mabel
Edna Leona

Timotheus Horn & Stella Hattie
A son would be named after my father's middle name Timothy and my mother's maiden name of Horn. That adds up to Timotheus Horn (using a variant of Timothy), though I'd prefer just Timothy and to drop the Horn since we're estranged.
My maternal great great grandfather was named Sterling and his sisters were Mollie, Hattie, Nannie, Stellie, Adia, and Gladdis. As far as I know there is no feminization of Sterling floating around out there so I'm just going to use Stellie as inspiration and go with Stella. Hattie is the only name there I really like that goes okay with Stella.
