Re: Virginia
in reply to a message by Puck

I also really like Virginia, despite it being not my usual type of name. It just flows so beautifully, and I love its strength and poise. It's sort of a "conservative" name, but it's got some spice to it, like Vivian does. I rather like Rita Virginia or Virginia Rita as a combo, after my great grandmother Rita, who had that same icy, reserved elegance with an undercurrent of fire. Or Virginia Marguerite :)Of your combos, I really enjoy Virginia Rose and Virginia Catherine (though I confess to preferring Virginia Katharine, because the name Virginia really epitomizes that Hepburn style), and Virginia Alice.Virginia and Susanna would be lovely as sisters! So lyrically colonial.
