Leanna
What are your opinions of Leanna. I've started to really like it recently. I find Leanne dated, but Leanna refreshing to me and girly, but not overly frilly. Opinions on Leanna? ~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

I find them both dated. On top of that, now that I know that Liana (et al.) is a short form of names such as Eliana, Juliana and Liliana, it's not nearly as appealing as it once was. I'd rather see Leigh Anna which was the name of a friend I had in high school. It seems more straightforward and less dated that way, imo.

It's okay. I prefer Liana, but I think it's pretty dated no matter what the spelling. This year, I teach an Annaleigh who has a little sister named Leighanna. So bad on so many levels.

Leanna is indeed a bit refreshing. I have no interest in Leanne at all, but Leanna is pretty yet down-to-earth.

I agree that Leanne is dated, however I have the same opinion about Leanna. It is definitely more girly but I cannot image a young child with this name. I would expect a Leanna to be late teens-early twenties.

I've a friend named LeAnna. She's 31. I like the name, it's sweet

It's not far enough removed from Leanne to escape its connotations. If you like the sound, I'd go with Liana instead; I think it's more versatile.

I find it a little boring.Leona is a slight change that I think is much more interesting.

It's okay. It's not really dated or not-dated, because it's not ever been popular, but it's still familiar.
Friends of ours have a daughter about twenty named Brooke Leanna.
