Alden?
What do you think of the name Alden?
We are a few weeks from delivery and trying to pin down a name for our baby boy! (The other names we are considering are Damian and Colin.)
Thanks for any thoughts you might have, plus other names that might give off the same vibe.

I like Alden;I'm reminded of the Canadian poet, Alden Nowlan.
Damiam and Colin are good, if you don't pronounce Colin as "colon".
Dougal is a nice name, also.

I think it'd be cool to meet an Alden.
To me it seems like a happy medium between Alder (which is too hippyish for me even though I tend to like nature names) and Elton (which I think is stuffy and pretentious).
Asher, Owen, Landon, and Elliot have a similar vibe in my opinion.

I love it and it's meaning "old friend". I think names with a similar vibe are Alder, Linden and Holden.
It's good. the -en makes it a bit trendy, but it's not bad. Alton is stronger and I like it more, but Alden is pleasant enough -- better than both Damian and Colin.
I really like it. Alden is handsome.
I never thought I would be too fond of it, but a friend named her son Aldon and in real life I find it adorable. It seems to fit him too.
It has a trendy, modern vibe, but it's really not a trendy name nor is it modern.
The e spelling you chose is a bit more mainstream in look, so I think it works fine.
Aldon comes from a family of A-names, so his sister is Adelaide (parents are Allison and Andrew).
Arden, Hollis, Merritt, Micah, Rowan, Brett, Ezra, Davis, Tristan, Jasper, Elias, Westley, Sterling, Avery and Noel give off the same vibe as Alden to me.
Of the other choices you are considering, I far prefer Colin to Damian.
