Re: WDYT of Marnie?

It ought to seem kind of cute to me, but it doesn't. the m and n sounds either side of the ar just seem to make it drab and blah.
I read a book a few years ago by a woman who worked as a professional submissive, like the opposite of a dominatrix. Her real name was Joan, but at the "dungeon" where she worked she picked the working name Marnie. Which I guess is an improvement over Joan but she explained she'd taken a liking to it when she read about the Manson family, and Marnie was an alias patricia Crenwinkle used sometimes. She said something like she felt sorry for how Krenwinkle came off in the media and empathised with her somehow. I forget exactly, but her reasoning for liking Marnie seemed pretty creepy.
I think, therefore I judge.
